Job Title: Technical Customer Support

Location: Haywards Heath

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000

Duration: Temporary - Ongoing

Hours: Monday – Friday (7:30am – 4:00pm / 9:00am – 6:00PM)

My client is looking for a Technical Support Specialist (Medical) to support their expanding team. You will deliver excellent customer service and support to patients and distributors of clinical equipment. Those customers are primarily patients, hospitals and primary care organisations across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries regarding technical issues from customers
  • Escalate complaints to the relevant team leader/manager
  • Log enquiries onto the system, in-line with the company procedures
  • Ensure the paying of invoices on time by liaising with Finance Directors, Healthcare professionals etc…
  • Maintain full knowledge of the company’s product
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance to customers
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as required by team leaders or managers

Requirements:

  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A strong want to learn, in order to keep up to date with technical changes
  • The ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
  • Experience in the Medical/Pharmaceutical industries
  • Technical and/or trouble-shooting phone-based support
  • Experience of providing phone-based support to patients and/or primary care organisations
