Salary: Up to £26,000 DOE

Our client is looking for an experienced manager to lead and support the service and supervision and oversea all services required.


  • Lead and manage core and individual support to the people who live in supported living accommodation enabling them to lead fulfilling lives and develop their autonomy, choice and control
  • Take overall responsibility for the welfare of people who use the service in line with current best practice and within the company policies
  • Work as part of the team to ensure all local services are managed in accordance with the service contract
  • Identify, monitor and review service user support needs, ensuring an effective and appropriate service
  • Provide appropriate levels of support to ensure service users are supported to maintain their tenancies

Experience and Skills

  • Experience of developing and maintaining high standards of support in relation to supported living
  • Experience of effectively and efficiently managing or supervising a staff team
  • Experience of challenging prejudice, discrimination and oppression
  • Significant experience of working with vulnerable people, in order to understand the particular care and support they need
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload, as agreed with the Regional Manager
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues discreetly and diplomatically
  • Ability to positively assess, manage and respond to risks
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a rota, including weekends and out of hours on-call as part of emergency cover where necessary


  • QCF/NVQ level 3, 4 or 5 in health and social care, or equivalent qualification or demonstrable comparable experience
