Senior Sales Executive

Job Title: Senior Sales Executive (Full-Time)

Location: London

Hours: 40 per week (Flexible Working)

Salary: £45,000 plus commission
 

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing your own new business sales pipeline
  • Attending relevant tradeshows and networking events to identify potential prospects
  • Demonstrating product capabilities to potential clients in person or via web access
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Achieve sales targets and outcomes within agreed timescales
  • Coordinate sales effort with other sales team members
  • Continually assess the overall market’s potential, provide feedback on the direction of the market and other key sales related issues
  • Manage, track and support sales through the whole lifecycle
  • Work with account managers on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new and existing services and capabilities
  • Keep abreast of best practices and new thinking in our market, with clients and competitors
  • Experience and knowledge of planning, managing and analysing marketing campaigns
  • Experience in creating and developing strategic plans and their execution
  • Monitor competitor activity and performance to maintain and grow the client's market position
  • Control marketing activities, including:
    • Forecast sales per annum
    • Plan promotions for online trade accounts
    • Creative approach to on/offline marketing
    • Oversee brand development/marketing strategy

Requirements

  • Evidence of a successful track record in meeting sales targets as well as generating and closing your own leads
  • A positive working attitude
  • Experience of a consultative sales approach
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage and support sales reporting across a company
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills in a service or project environment, often in longer sales cycles
  • Prioritising, time management and mature organisational skills
  • Mature and developed relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Degree educated or have significant relevant sector experience
  • Strong numeracy and verbal reasoning skills

Desirable

  • Previous food & beverage related procurement experience
