Full Time - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for a CIPD qualified professional with leadership experience to manage a small HR team, leading the performance development and recruitment processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing complex employee relation casework including absences, grievances, dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, retirement and redundancy
  • Developing HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • Responsible for the overall day to day running of the HR department
  • Supporting the recruitment process including writing job descriptions, preparing interview questions and application forms, sitting in on interviews
  • Advising on recruitment and selection strategies
  • Continuously monitoring and reviewing HR policies and processes, implementing changes where necessary
  • Advising managers on best practise as well as employment terms and conditions
  • Providing advice to employees and manager on existing benefits
  • Administering payroll and payroll records
  • Ensuring data accuracy compliance

The right candidate:

  • Three to five years generalist HR experience
  • Qualified CIPD level 5 - 7
  • Proven leadership capabilities and background
  • People orientated with the ability to lead and manage employees
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills
  • Sensitivity in handling confidential issues, acting with discretion and diplomacy
  • Experienced with employment laws and regulations, benefits and resources
