Our client in central Brighton has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant to join their fast paced office. It will be a varied role, in which you'll be working closely with the HR Manager, this opportunity would be ideal for someone with a background in HR, looking to learn, develop and grow their career.

Responsibilities: 
  • Answering employee questions
  • Processing incoming mail
  • Creating and distributing documents
  • Providing customer service to organisation employees
  • Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators
  • Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
  • Setting appointments and arranging meetings
  • Maintaining calendars of HR management team
  • Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets
  • Any administration task relating to HR, Recruitment, Training and Development 
  • Providing payroll support
The right candidate:
  • Previous experience within a HR role is essential
  • Administrative skills
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Focused, organised and with an eye for detail
  • Proficient IT ability 
  • Degree level education preferable but not essential
