£20,000 - £22,000 depending on experience 

Based in Hove
Full Time Mon- Fri 9 am - 5.15 pm

Our client is looking for an individual to provide both financial and administrative support, working as a part of a small team. The ideal candidate will be pro-active and numerically minded, require minimal supervision and possess the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise numerous responsibilities.  


Responsibilities:

  • Generating monthly sales invoices
  • Raising credit notes
  • Profit and loss balance sheet reporting
  • Producing debt reports
  • Credit control
  • Producing and sending copy invoices
  • Creating and sending correspondence
  • Issuing statements and taking over the phone payments
  • Maintaining, creating and updating accurate records on the company database
  • Dealing with inbound calls

The ideal candidate

  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Database or CRM knowledge
  • Highly numerate and accurate
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner
  • Basic accountancy knowledge and familiarity with Sage 50 desirable, however training will be given for the right person
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
