Centre Manager

Job Title: Centre Manager (Full-Time)

Location: Brighton

Hours: 40 per week (Flexible Working)

Salary: £30,000 (plus commission)

Responsibilities:

  • To regularly meet, assess and support (and recruit when necessary) all department heads, ensuring that all department KPIs are achieved
  • Ensure all agreed sales conversion targets are achieved, provide quotes for bookings with all agents, including group and individual bookings
  • Oversee or convert front of office walk-in sales inquiries, ensure that all staff working in the sales area are sufficiently trained and are supported with any up to date materials and information about the services offered by the school
  • Deal with/oversee all online sales enquiries from the Website Contact us form, email, and all social media
  • Manage any telephone sales enquiries
  • Ensure all agreed marketing targets are achieved
  • Design, manage and oversee implementation of all email marketing campaigns targeting agents an ongoing marketing plan of an email campaign and framework of their basic content should be created and developed each year
  • Oversee ongoing social media campaigns mainly using Facebook, with regular posting of adverts in particular groups each week. Monitoring relevant Facebook groups, promoting the school and supporting the school brand when necessary or appropriate
  • Manage and organise any advertising contracts which may exist, such as bus stop advertising signs
  • Ensure the school’s KPI’s demonstrate all targets are being met and to collate and provide all relevant weekly reports of KPIs to the Directors using the Centre Manager Checklist
  • Manage complaints that could not be resolved by the relevant HOD, report any unresolved complaints and issues which indicate any shortcoming in the school’s policies and procedures to the Directors in collaboration with the Compliance Consultant
  • Assist and contribute in any business development when requested by the Directors
  • Promote a responsible attitude to student safeguarding, welfare and supervision amongst the staff and lead the centre team in implementing company policies. Be primary point of contact over H&S issues
  • Managing the decorative condition of the building and provide a clean and tidy learning and working environment
  • Being responsible the school’s petty cash and annual budgets, arranging for timely payment of all bills, invoices, rent, licences, contracts etc ensuring that expenditure is kept within the school guidelines and that transparent and accurate records of all expenditure are submitted to the Directors
  • Being Data Controller and will assure that at all times data is protected in line with the school policies, current UK legislation and any rules set by our accrediting bodies.

  • Ability to make decisions quickly and calmly
  • Basic administration skills
  • Ability to lead a team of people effectively
  • Ability to speak clearly and coherently in English to large groups of people
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to relay clear concise factual information
  • Ability to complete necessary admin/financial paperwork to company standards

Qualifications

  • Good standard of education
  • Experience and proven track record in sales

  • First Aid
